Gandalf: His attitude is a bit paranoid and all knowing. Gandalf is a grey wizard who is close friends to Bilbo Baggins, a Hobbit of the Shire. He is well known in the Shire, the home of the Hobbits, and everywhere around. He is a very happy old man, but until he finds out about the ring that Bilbo has, he gets serious. “But keep it secret, and keep it safe!” (Gandalf 36)
Frodo: His attitude is cheerful and outgoing. His motivation would be his friend Sam. He is a Hobbit of the Shire and his uncle is the most known Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins. Frodo is also the carrier of the One Ring. He goes on an adventure with many companions by his side to destroy the ring once and for all. “I do really do wish to destroy it!” (Frodo 60)
Samwise: His attitude is encouraging and could get quite whinny as he goes on. He is a “never giving up” and adventurous type. He really wants to see elves and many more. “Elves, sir! I would dearly love to see them,” (Sam 62). Sam travels with Mr. Frodo, as he calls him, and many other friends as they try to destroy the One Ring. His motivation would be his best friend Frodo. Sam would never betray his best friend and he would do anything for him.
